Radha's Cottage is a lovely retreat, very well located at the end of the road in Matheran. It's a simple place, furnished largely with period furniture. The food is outstanding - the best I've had in 6 weeks of traveling in India. For those who are unfamiliar with Matheran as I was, a couple pieces of information: - The "toy train" runs very infrequently. Be sure to get a schedule if you plan to take it from the parking. - It's a 4.5km walk from the train station near the parking to Radha's. Don't believe the stationmaster if he tells you it's a 20 minute walk, it's an hour's walk. - It's still another 1.5km from the train station in the village to Radha's. If you've got a bag it's probably a good idea to get some help from a porter. - Sometimes the electricity goes out. When we stayed, these outages were brief, just a minute or 2. - Sometimes the water in the bathroom is dark brown. This surprised us one morning. It's dirt, and cleared during the course of the day.

Had an amazing stay at Radha Cottage Haritage Resort . The place was super peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed. The food totally surprised us. It as not only delicious but also fresh and very healthy. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, made us feel right at home. Honestly, we didn’t feel like leaving, could’ve easily stayed a few more days ♥️

Love the resort vibe. Room and washroom super clean. No smell of dampness. Safe and a lovely place to stay. Highly recommend. All three meals are included in stay. Super deal.

Yes there’s food in the given package but the timings are not favourable also they don’t allow food in the room everyone has different time to have lunch dinner and breakfast at least on the weekend Rest everything is excellent staff is much helping

Radha cottage is the most picturesque heritage resort nestled in the dense forests of Matheran. We stayed at the Windsor Paradise cottage on the resort, the room and the view were outstanding. The staff is very disciplined and pay attention to every detail and necessities of the guests. There are ample fun board games, outdoor games and books for a relaxing day within the resort. Food quality is the best , though a bit overpriced. Raju Dada the caretaker helped us plan a birthday surprise set up and was great with his service.

Excellent food, very good hospitality, very good stay. The place is surrounded by the greenery. Very clean atmosphere and staff is very humble and supportive.
